Projects in Collaboration with Tuscany Pools

Since the second half of 2021, we’ve been the exclusive contractor handling all hardscaping work for Tuscany Pools’ fiberglass pool projects — including interlocking, coping, retaining walls, steps, and lighting.

We’ve worked together on many backyard transformations across the GTA, delivering durable, clean, and cohesive outdoor spaces. Tuscany focuses on pool design and installation — we take care of everything around it.

Here are some of the projects we've completed in collaborati

Michael’s Residence, Woodbridge (2022)

Adriano’s Residence, Richmond Hill (2024)

Adriano’s Residence, Richmond Hill (2024)

This 2022 backyard project was completed for Michael in Woodbridge. Both the interlocking and pool coping were done using Techo-Bloc materials, giving the space a premium, cohesive look. The combination of high-end stone and clean layout created a durable, low-maintenance outdoor area that still looks sharp today.

This 2024 project for Adriano’s home in Richmond Hill featured both pavers and coping from Rinox, creating a clean, modern, and consistent look around the pool area. We handled the full interlocking installation with precise layout and finishing — another smooth and successful collaboration with Tuscany Pools.

John’s Residence, Newmarket (2024)

John’s Residence, Newmarket (2024)

This 2024 backyard project for John’s home in Newmarket included full interlocking and pool coping installation. One major challenge was that the neighbor’s yard sat significantly higher, causing the backyard to stay damp year-round. We implemented several drainage and grading solutions to resolve the issue — and the result was a dry, solid, and beautiful outdoor space. Another successful collaboration with Tuscany Pools.

Dan’s Residence, Woodbridge (2023)

Wellness Retreat Project, Muskoka (2023)

John’s Residence, Newmarket (2024)

This 2023 project for Dan’s home in Woodbridge was a full outdoor transformation. We completed nearly every element — interlocking, pool coping, garden walls, an outdoor kitchen, a concrete pad for the backyard shed, artificial turf, and a custom waterfall feature. The result is a clean, functional, and low-maintenance space designed for everyday living and summer enjoyment. A complete project, and another smooth collaboration with Tuscany Pools.

Wellness Retreat Project, Muskoka (2023)

This was one of my personal favorite projects. Working in Muskoka, surrounded by forest and lake, felt more like a retreat than a job. I had a crew staying on-site for over 10 days, and I drove back and forth from Toronto every day — not because I had to, but because I genuinely enjoyed being there.

The project included armour stone steps, stepping stones, and natural stone coping throughout the outdoor space. Everything was built to blend with the landscape — durable, grounded, and peaceful. A truly memorable experience, both professionally and personally.

From 2018 to 2025, I’ve completed projects for Abe and many of his friends, year after year. I’m sincerely grateful for his trust and continued support.

His pool was originally a total mess, caused by another contractor. After Vince (the owner of Tuscany Pools) and I took over, we rebuilt everything from the ground up.

Lauro Residence, Aurora (2024)

This project was completed in 2024 in Aurora. We used Rinox Proma 60 XL slabs throughout the backyard, and the pool coping was finished with natural stone for a clean and high-end look. We also built the foundation for the backyard shed and installed lighting throughout the space.

Pool Auto Cover Upgrade Project

For this project, we removed the existing concrete collar and raised the entire patio and coping by 1.5 inches to accommodate a new automatic pool cover. The upgrade improves both functionality and appearance, while helping retain heat and keep the pool warmer for longer.

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. The entire job used Rinox Proma 60 slabs. Due to the sloped terrain, we built retaining walls beneath the edge pavers to ensure long-term stability.

Tuscany Pools Project (2018)

This project was originally completed in 2018, with the hardscaping done by another company. Over time, the coping and pavers began to fail. We were brought in to replace all the coping and repair the sunken pavers, restoring the poolside to a solid and polished condition.

This 2017 project was completed for Mr. Victor, a Peruvian homeowner. We fully renovated the interlocking around the pool using Unilock's Beacon Hill pavers. Unfortunately, the before-renovation photos are missing — the transformation was so dramatic, it felt like two different worlds.

This was a project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. It was completed in November 2021, just before the snow arrived — the weather was very cold. Frank, an older gentleman, was very satisfied with our work. The entire retaining wall system was built using Bestway Stone’s Ridgewall System.

Portuguese Gentleman, Gwillimbury (2018)

This project was completed in 2018 for a senior Portuguese gentleman — apologies, we can’t recall his name after all these years. We replaced the pool coping, repaired the patio, and redid the front walkway. The homeowner was very satisfied and later had us complete hardscaping work for several of his sons as well. What left the deepest impression was his 3-acre property perched on high ground with a stunning view — I remember wishing I could own a place like that myself.

This 2019 project was completed for Andy in Nobleton. The entire backyard was built using Bestway Stone products, with 6-foot-wide natural stone coping adding a premium finish around the pool. The final result turned out beautifully. The following year, we returned to complete the front porch and flowerbeds. The homeowner was very pleased and introduced us to his wife’s sister for her own landscaping project.

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool, using the Rinox product line. The client was very satisfied — the same old story: the following year, we were asked to build the front porch and flowerbeds.

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool, using the Rinox product line. The clients — a lovely couple — were very satisfied. This is another photo taken from the upper deck, offering a different perspective.

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. Due to the significant slope in the backyard, we built heavy-duty retaining walls beneath the pavers around the pool. The advantage of this type of wall is that it keeps the entire platform stable and prevents any shifting over time.

Bruce Residence, Mississauga (2022)

Bruce Residence, Mississauga (2022)

This is one of my long-time clients. We previously did the driveway at his old house, and he was very satisfied with our work, referring many, many friends to us. This was a very large project, and I didn’t take many photos, but I did upload a video to Google Maps. The entire backyard covers about 4,000 square feet, featuring a basketball court, patio, retaining walls, and an outdoor kitchen.

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool, located in Vaughan. The clients were very nice, and we completed the job on schedule to ensure everything was ready in time for their daughter’s wedding. The client also had us build the front walkway and patio.

Frank Residence, Vaughan (2021)

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. The reason we used the wavy-textured pavers was to match the ones originally installed by the builder — keeping a consistent look was important to the client. We also installed artificial turf and stepping stones. To be honest, I personally prefer a smooth finish, but matching the existing style took priority.

Mary Residence, Vaughan (2022)

Frank Residence, Vaughan (2021)

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. The entire job was simple and straightforward — pool coping, surrounding interlock, patio, and some sod repair. No fancy extras, just clean and solid work. All materials used were from Bestway Stone.

Paul Residence, Richmond Hill (2023)

Paul is a builder — in fact, he built my own house back in 2013. In 2023, I did the front and backyard landscaping for his home, covering nearly 10,000 square feet of interlocking. You could say we were both very satisfied with each other’s work: I love the house he built for me, and he was very happy with the landscaping I did for him. The only difference? His house is worth close to $10 million — haha, enough to buy several of mine. Over the years, he has referred several contractor friends to me, and I truly appreciate his support.

Bill Residence, Richmond Hill (2022)

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. The client had a pool built by Tuscany at his previous home, and this time he brought us in for the full backyard. We used Bestway Stone products throughout. Later on, the client added the side walkways, front driveway, and porch — a full upgrade that tied the whole property together.

Pasquale Caledon (2022)

This project was completed in 2022 for a good friend of mine — an Italian friend, introduced by Claudio. Claudio has referred countless clients to me over the years. He’s an electrician himself and has worked on many similar projects. I’m truly grateful for his continued trust and support.

Tuscany Pool Collaboration (2018)

Tuscany Pool Collaboration (2018)

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. The entire backyard was done using light-toned Bestway Stone products. Later on, the client added retaining walls, flowerbeds, and artificial turf — a clean and functional upgrade that completed the space beautifully.

This was a personal project for Tuscany Pool — their own backyard pool built in 2018. We were brought in to build the rear equipment cover and install the lighting.

Arthur Residence, Vaughan (2022)

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. The entire backyard was done using Rinox and uilock products, including retaining walls. This was one of my personal favorites — simple, elegant, clean, and beautiful.

This was a backyard pool renovation project — the original condition was in terrible shape. We removed all the old pavers and coping, then rebuilt the entire space with new interlocking, coping, and added flowerbeds. In front of the trees, we installed three waterfalls. The transformation was dramatic — a complete night-and-day difference from what it was before.

Michael Residence, Whitby (2022)

A 2022 project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. Michael himself is in the construction business, and he was extremely satisfied with our work. Since then, we’ve become partners — he regularly refers clients to me, and we continue to support each other’s projects.

Israel Residence, Vaughan (2023)

Arthur Residence, Vaughan (2022)

Michael Residence, Whitby (2022)

Another project in collaboration with Tuscany Pool. The client, named Israel, is originally from Israel and works in construction himself — very meticulous and detail-oriented. In the end, he was thoroughly satisfied with our work. The entire project was completed using Rinox Proma XL slabs.
