Year: 2023

Richmond Hill Poolside Project (2024)

Muskoka Luxury Poolside Retreat (2023)

Muskoka Luxury Poolside Retreat (2023)

This is a 2024 project completed in Richmond Hill. The coping and pavers are from the Rinox Proma XL series, creating a modern and refined look. Due to the natural slope of the yard, we constructed a heavy-duty retaining wall using Bestway Stone’s Ridgewall system beneath the outer edge of the interlocking. This ensures the structural integrity of the patio, preventing any future shifting or deformation, and providing both durability and visual appeal.

Nobleton Outdoor Kitchen (2019)

Muskoka Luxury Poolside Retreat (2023)

This modern outdoor kitchen was completed in 2019 in Nobleton. The structure was built using Unilock wall blocks set on a reinforced concrete base to ensure long-term durability. The countertop was provided by the client and integrated seamlessly into the layout. The space includes a built-in stainless steel BBQ, a smoker, under-counter storage, and a compact refrigerator—perfectly suited for backyard entertainment. The clean lines and neutral tones of the interlocking patio complement the kitchen, creating a cohesive and elegant outdoor living space.

Markham Front Yard Retaining Wall Project(2016)

Markham Front Yard Retaining Wall Project(2016)

This elegant front yard project in Markham features a retaining wall built with the exact same stone as the home's exterior façade, ensuring perfect architectural harmony. Retaining wall lights were subtly installed just beneath the coping, creating a refined, ambient glow at night while highlighting the craftsmanship of the stonework. The seamless design and thoughtful lighting bring out both luxury and functionality in this classic residential setting.

Moe is a Jewish renovation contractor we’ve worked with on several large projects. He’s been very supportive and trusts our work. This particular job was for his uncle’s home — a heated driveway and newly poured concrete pad, finished with natural stone and integrated lighting.

This 2014 project in Markham left a strong impression. The homeowner was so pleased she later invited our whole crew to her restaurant. During the pandemic, she trusted us again to renovate both of her daughters’ homes — and they were just as happy.

I lost most of the photos after switching phones, but this old WeChat message still brings back great memories.

This project was bigger than it looks — we completed the entire poolside hardscaping and backyard work for Daniel’s home. Unfortunately, I lost many of the photos after switching phones.

Later on, Daniel introduced us to Alex — the same Alex who later moved to King City, where we completed another large project for him.

This was a driveway and front yard project for Mr. Alex in Vaughan. After a bad experience with another contractor, he contacted us right after moving in, having seen our work nearby.

The job went smoothly — he was happy and even bought us beer. One thing I won’t forget: four chainsaws were stolen overnight from a locked garage. That was the first sign local safety was getting worse.

Dear Canada — we love this place, and hope things improve.

This project has a special story. It started years ago when the couple first visited my wife’s curtain shop. They were impressed with our service and later trusted us with both their front and backyard landscaping. Since then, they’ve referred neighbors, friends, and even brought us back to complete the front and backyard at their parents’ home. Looking at the photos now, their kids were just little toddlers—time flies, they must be all grown up by now.

This was Alex’s former home in Vaughan. He was very happy with the work and introduced many friends to us afterward. During the COVID-19 years, he moved to King City, where we completed a much larger backyard project for him — including over 4,000 square feet of interlocking plus full poolside stonework.

It was such a big job that we couldn’t even upload all the photos and videos at once.

This was a memorable 2016 project for a very kind Indian client. He invited me into his home and shared stories about his family — a genuinely warm and welcoming person.

This was a 2015 project completed for Angie’s home in Richmond Hill. A clean, well-balanced layout with thoughtful stonework — still one of our favorite early jobs.

This house was just the beginning — since then, we’ve completed dozens of projects on the same street!

Front & Backyard Projects, Uzzo Residence, Vaughan (2022–2024)

We first completed the backyard for the Uzzo residence in 2022. They were very happy with the work, and in 2024, we returned to finish the front yard and retaining wall.

This project was completed in 2017 for a young couple living in North York. Back then, it was just the two of them — now they have three kids. Time truly flies. I still remember how they thoughtfully bought a little outfit for my daughter — a kind gesture I’ll never forget.

This project started on the same day my second daughter was born. I was in the delivery room while also coordinating the site progress over the phone. It was a busy and memorable day — one that marked both family and work milestones.

I can’t recall her name, but I still remember the project clearly. After we finished her home, we were invited to do a similar job at her sister’s house — both were very happy with the results.

Between 2014 and 2019, we completed many projects along just a few streets in Richmond Hill and Vaughan. Over time, many neighbors came to know us. On summer evenings, as people went out for walks, they’d often stop to say hello — a small but meaningful feeling that stays with me.

This was a 2025 project for Yaniv’s home, where we completed both the backyard and driveway. He chose Proma XL slabs for the entire front and back — large, heavy pavers that create a bold, modern look. Each slab in the driveway weighed over 150 pounds, making the installation both challenging and satisfying. A clean, cohesive layout that brought the whole property together.

This backyard wasn’t large, but it turned out beautifully. The pool coping and interlocking were perfectly color-matched, creating a clean, unified look. Paired with artificial grass, the space stays lush and green year-round — with almost no maintenance. A simple design done right.

We upgraded the front porch and steps with natural stone in a slate grey color, added a decorative retaining wall with built-in LED lights, and finished the look with neatly planted boxwoods for a clean, elegant touch.

Chris Front Yard Project (2024)

This backyard project began in 2023, including all the poolside hardscaping. We worked through snow and freezing temperatures—so cold the HPB froze solid in the dump truck. The job was so big it carried into the next year. The beauty you see came from real challenges behind the scenes. Chris was so pleased with the result, he invited us back in 2024 to complete the front yard as well.

Ron’s vacation home on Georgina Island—no one knows how tough it was to move materials and waste. Every day we had to take the ferry, calculating everything down to the exact amount—no more, no less. The project took over a month to complete.
We also did his house in Toronto, which we’ll share another time.

Eric could just take his speedboat over to Ron’s place—everyone on the island seems to know each other. We worked on four properties there, all connected. We also did their homes in Toronto. Despite all the challenges of working on the island, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

This was a builder’s house project. The client was very happy with the result—Bestway Stone’s Huntington pavers in black and grey were used. The house sits significantly higher than the neighbor’s on the left, so we installed retaining walls beneath the pavers along the left-side driveway and walkway. We also dug a trench along the property line and added a weeping tile system to ensure water wouldn’t flow into the neighbor’s yard.

This project features Bestway Stone’s Huntington (Colorado Grey) pavers with charcoal borders and Camden steps, delivering a sleek and modern finish. Due to the significant slope on both sides, a heavy-duty RidgeWall retaining wall was installed beneath the right-side pavers to ensure long-term stability and proper drainage. Clean design, built to last.

This backyard features a sunken patio surrounded by custom-built retaining walls that double as casual seating — perfect for relaxed conversations. We installed proper drainage systems and gas lines, making the space both functional and inviting. When the fire bowl is lit in the evening, the entire yard transforms into a warm, elegant retreat.

A clean and understated project that speaks for itself — driveway, garden bed, and tree box all built with precision and simplicity. Even without coping, the lines are sharp and the layout feels complete. All materials were sourced from Bestway Stone, ensuring a consistent and durable finish throughout. No gimmicks — just solid, honest work.

A simple and practical layout, similar to the Tony project — featuring a clean driveway, garden bed, and natural stone porch with steps at the entrance. No unnecessary decoration, just neat craftsmanship and a solid, elegant finish. All materials were carefully chosen for durability and visual harmony.

The design is simple — but the craftsmanship is not. Beneath the clean surface lies a reinforced concrete base under the driveway, ensuring zero movement or shifting even after years of use. It’s a project that proves durability starts from the ground up.
